Loss of Charter

Luckily you return to England, though it took months and the last of your joint-stock company's money to evacuate the colony. Needless to say, King James is rather upset with your failure to successfully maintain your colony. He chooses to revoke your charter and claim your former lands for himself. Your investors have lost their money. 

Maybe one day, another colony will succeed on the same soil upon which you failed. As for yourself, you are left with little but a bankrupt company and broken dreams. At least you still have your life.
